About
Jenté Safe Place, Inc. was founded in 2018 by Jennifer Washington. The organization was formed after she developed a passion for helping and assisting victims of abuse while working at several correctional facilities and observing a high rate of despondency from people based on circumstance. Almost becoming a victim of a possible abduction in her teenage years herself, she knew that she had to help provide a form of safety to others by creating a system that will educate them, by raising awareness and taking precautions, as well as, providing a temporary safe house while they transition.
Our organization is compromised of a team of passionate individuals who help to carry our mission throughout the community that we are building.
